About

Reconciliation lives at the border of three disciplines. So does the team.

Mining engineering, corporate finance and technology: the three perspectives it takes for a deviation to be understood, valued and corrected.

The company

Who we are

Argus Mine is a Chilean mining technology company. We founded it in January 2026 and work from Santiago, Chile. The platform is developed in-house: the engine that compares the plan with what was executed, the one that learns each mine's normal, and the governance views are our own code.

Our Mission

To be the many eyes that watch every corner of the operation and convert complex geospatial data into reliable intelligence, empowering mining leaders to make better decisions with certainty.

Our Vision

To be the global standard in executive mining intelligence, providing a clear, independent, and comprehensive view of mining performance that drives sustainable value for the industry.

Our Value

We believe in the power of seeing everything, understanding what matters, and delivering perspectives leaders can trust to create lasting impact.

The experience behind it

Over 65 years of combined experience

Argus Mine comes from a team that brings together mining engineering, corporate finance and technology. That is no accident: every reconciliation question speaks the language of one of those disciplines.

18+years

Mining engineering and operations

Leading operations and digital transformation in mining across the Americas.

It is the perspective that understands why F1 is argued in the field and F3 in the geology room.

35+years

Corporate finance

Financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and scaling organizations across Latin America.

It is the perspective that insists a deviation be expressed in NPV, not only in tonnes.

15+years

Cloud and AI technology

Cloud-native and AI/ML platforms for mining and fintech, and global teams at scale.

It is the perspective that turns a quarterly reconciliation into a continuous cycle.

Where we are today

The platform is complete. What comes next is the first pilot.

Today Argus Mine runs end to end on a demonstration mine: 299 periods and 11 phases reconciled on a 1.28-million-block model, with the result in dollars, the 3D viewer and the views by role.

Our own measurement on a demonstration dataset, not on client data.

We are looking for the first pilot

One phase of the mine, three months, and success criteria agreed before starting, using the data the mine already produces. No new equipment or sensors.

Let's talk about a pilot
Where the name comes from

The all-seeing one

In Greek mythology, Argos Panoptes — “the all-seeing” — was a giant with a hundred eyes. Hera gave him a single task: to keep watch without interruption.

His power was not strength. It was that he never closed all his eyes at once: while some slept, others kept watching. The watch was continuous, never episodic. And it was many eyes looking from different angles, not one eye staring hard.

Argus is the Latin form of his name. Hence the name of the platform.

«A mine is measured in snapshots. The ground moves every day.»

Argos was not defeated by force. He was lulled to sleep.

Hermes could not overcome a hundred open eyes. He closed them one by one, telling stories until none were left awake. The real risk isn't that a monitoring system stops watching: it's that it watches a number that no longer means anything.

Principles

What we don't negotiate

1

We never fabricate the missing assumption

If data is missing, the field stays empty and flagged. Never zero.

2

What cannot be measured is not compliance

A factor of 1.000 caused by missing measurement is flagged as not interpretable, not as “on plan”.

3

Evidence, not verdicts

The platform doesn't decide: it delivers a number that can be arbitrated, signed by the right expert.

4

We say what we don't do

An audit product that overstates its scope does not survive the first technical review.

5

Every claim, with its source

The standards, studies and data behind this site are published, and anything illustrative is labeled as such.

Journey

From a volumetric engine to a governance platform

May 2026

3D volumetric engine

DXF design ingestion and TIN-vs-TIN surface differencing.

June 2026

Reconciliation factors and satellite radar

F1/F2/F3 with mass balance, and Sentinel-1 InSAR processing.

July 2026

ICESat-2 and role-based governance

Laser altimetry for areas without radar signal, multi-level governance dashboards and reconciliation history recall.

August 2026

Statistical baseline and action plans

Normal operating range learned per site, spatial deviation intelligence and formal action-plan follow-up.

How much value is your mine losing today?

Every day a deviation goes undetected, unexplained or unresolved, the value at risk keeps growing. Start by seeing it.
